ZONE 8: Sad moments await fans in Match Day 5 fixtures in Zone 8 in honour of the late Baba Kankani

Following the fatal accident of the late Adam Shaibu,alias Baba Kankani of Nkawkaw Based radio station Obuoba FM after covering a Division Two League match between Kwahu Cities and Okwawu United at Yayaso.

Football fans in the Kwaku ridge are to experienced sad moments in their match day five fixtures. Club officials, players, supporters and stakeholders will observe a minute of silence and wear black and red armbands in match day 5 games this weekend. 

Odweanoma FC after drawing with Storm Academy in their previous match are poised to go all out for the maximum points against Kwahu Cities FC on Sunday at the Mpraeso Brighting’s park. 

Zone 8 relegation threatened Birim United will welcome Storm Academy at Ofori Park, Yayaso inside New Abirem. The Kwahu derby between OKwahu Warriors FC  and Okwahu United promises to be an interesting match, because Okwahu Warriors are motivated by the fact that Okwahu United lost their match last weekend. 

However, the ”Asasa Aban” boys are poised to bounce back to winning ways in Sunday’s match against Okwahu Warriors . Okwawu United lead zone 8 with 9 points after 4 matches while Kwahu Warriors are 3rd position.
