Middle League Qualification Secured

Match day 9 in zone 8 of the ongoing division two league witnessed a local derby clash between the Asaase Aban lads and Kwahu City Academy.

It was a match with points at stake for qualification and bragging right as well. A win for the soccer mountaineers would guarantee a secured qualification for middle league whiles that for City would reduce points gab from 5 to 2 pushing qualification for teams to last round of games.

The importance of this match witnessed the presence of Hon Joseph Frimpong (Mp for Nkawkaw) who made donation to both teams.

At the end of 90minutes, Richardson Asiamah Jnr’s goal in the 74minute won the day for United over the city boys securing qualification to middle league with 20pts as well as the bragging right.
